Texture and dullness

Dull skin is usually a stack of dead cells sitting on the surface, reflecting light unevenly. Rough texture is often the same story with more depth. The fix is chemical exfoliation, not scrubbing.

The chemistry

What is actually happening?

The chemistry: AHAs (Glycolic, Lactic) break the bonds between dead cells on the surface, so they release cleanly. PHA (Gluconolactone) does the same job more slowly, so sensitive skin can tolerate it. Once the surface clears, light reflects evenly and skin reads brighter.
